A Walk on the Kentish Downs

February 13, 2019

A surprisingly good day for early February.  We hadn't done this walk before - it was cobbled together after looking at an OS map for a few hours - and proved a bit tougher than planned.  Started at Cobham (the one in Kent), and went east out to the Darnley Mausoleum in Cobham Woods before moving south across the downs to the North Downs Way and then west and north-west to Luddesdown and then back north to Cobham. Only about 7 miles but quite a bit of climbing. However, the views are worth it.
