It's a day out. We'd both had a long, busy, physically demanding day on the Saturday, and so we decided on the Sunday, as you do, to do a 9.8 mile walk from Ramsgate to Margate following the clifftop path. It sounds worse than it is, and the idea was that a walk was better than just sitting around with a build up of lactic acid in the muscles from the day before. So, train to Ramsgate, hoof it around the coast, a couple of drinks in Margate, and a train home. The day went well.
Coming up in the next week is a Colony exhibition at the Royal Engineers' Museum in Gillingham, Kent. Actually it's more of a small residency for the group as we're going to be showing through to December. Dates for diary are Thursday 12th at 18:00hrs when it's the opening night, and Saturday 2nd November at 13:30hrs when there's a meet the artists event.
Just to add, on Saturday 14th September at the Halpern Gallery in Chatham, there's a charity auction of art work happening where I just so happen to have four pieces up for sale.
